About

Alexia started working out consistently when she was only 12 years old, and has never looked back as she continues to learn and grow within the fitness space. She is a graduate student at Northwestern University studying Video/Broadcast Journalism. Her biggest joy as a trainer is spreading her energy and enthusiasm for all things health and fitness with her clients. Outside of Orange Shoe, she loves spending time outdoors and solo traveling around the world. Her summer fitness goal is to train to complete the Chicago Triathlon.

Q & A

Q: Why did you become a personal trainer?

A: I’ve been fortunate enough to learn from so many different trainers and instructors since I was in middle school, and want to help inspire healthy change within people the same way my trainers did with me.

Q: What has been one of your favorite client experiences?

A: I find the way we speak about physical ability and our bodies very important, so I was ecstatic to hear from my client that she had been feeling more self-confident in and out of the gym since we started training.

Q: What is your proudest physical achievement?

A: I ran the Chicago Spring Half Marathon this spring with only 6 weeks of training and beat my goal to run in under 2 hours!

Q: Why do you love Orange Shoe?

A: The shorter sessions allow everyone to work more efficiently. It's great to see a variety of different clients in one shift and help each person get closer to their goals.
