About

I am a rising senior at Indiana University, studying Exercise Science. I am currently studying to become a Certified Personal Trainer, taking my exam in July. I was enrolled in my first gymnastics class when I was two years old, and I have loved being active ever since. I was a level 8 gymnast, then went on to be a competitive cheerleader as well as cheered for my high school football team. Throughout my time as a gymnast I faced many injuries, and was always fascinated by the recovery process. I learned that weight bearing exercise and physical activity are important not only to make you stronger, but for the overall health and longevity of your body. I have always enjoyed the bonds created with my teammates, although I am very competitive! I enjoy traveling, the beach, and my dog. As a Lakeview Intern, I am eager to learn and gain experience in a field that allows me to help individuals improve their health and confidence.
