I grew up in the Madison area and have always had a passion for fitness. I have gone through many different experiences to help shape my understanding about the human body and how it works. My family and I love to travel, hike and explore new places. As a busy father of three, we are always on the go with different activities, sports and trips. In my free time you will find me golfing, fishing or trying out a new recipe!

Q: Why did you become a personal trainer?

A: I have always been an active person that exercises regularly. However, in the past I have struggled to find balance between my nutrition, workouts, diet and lifestyle choices. With years of practice, education and experience I have been able to achieve a healthy relationship between all aspects of my health, and reach my wellness goals. Through my own personal journey, my passion for fitness continued to grow and led me to pursue a career in personal training. I am able to draw from my experiences to help others achieve their goals, and I love working with clients to create their own individualized wellness plan.

Q: What has been one of your favorite client experiences?

A: I love getting to know my clients so that I can help tailor a specific workout and nutrition plan that fits well into their lifestyle. I recently had a client that relied heavily on store bought/pre made meals and fast food. As a busy mom, she needed a realistic exercise and nutrition plan to fit into her daily life. Together we were able to come up with a 3-4 day a week workout schedule and weekly meal prep essentials. With weekly meal prep, grocery lists, and a breakdown of simple meals within her macro range she was able to reach her fitness goals much quicker than she had thought!

Q: What is your proudest physical achievement?

A: After many years of struggling to meet my fitness goals, I am proud of finding balance and total body wellness. I have integrated my healthy habits into my daily life and no longer have to stress about my diet and workouts.

A: Personalized one on one training is the most valuable way to teach safe exercise techniques. It allows for proper attention and motivation to all the important details that can be missed in a larger class setting.
