Q & A
Q: Why did you become a personal trainer?
A: I became a personal trainer to help others improve their lives. Witnessing the transformation not just physically, but also mentally and emotionally, is incredibly rewarding. I’ve learned that it’s about more than just fitness—it's about lifting others up and helping heal their relationship with movement.
Q: What has been one of your favorite client experiences?
A: Every client becomes a favorite in their own unique way. One thing that sticks with me is when a client expresses that they are proud of themselves. One client began training with me after years of feeling defeated and disconnected from her body. At 57, she told me that she felt stronger than she had ever before. Seeing her consistent effort along the way and having her realize how far she had come is an experience I will always remember.
Q: What is your proudest physical achievement?
A: I underwent rehabilitation treatment for a significant injury that affected my balance and motor control. Shortly after, I started a calisthenics practice that I’ve been consistent with for the last 4 years. It was sparked as a personal challenge to be able to do a handstand, and has progressed into a disciplined practice! That entire journey taught me to be grateful for the ability to work out, be active, and be playful.
Q: Why do you love Orange Shoe?
A: Orange Shoe has built a community that is empowering and intentional. Understanding how much care they bring to each member has encouraged me to join the team!
